This visualization provides an opportunity to work with the unconscious mind and see what aspects of your shadow want to be brought into your conscious awareness. There is no wrong way to do this. Just open your mind and relax and just see whatever shows up.

Visualizations provide an opportunity for us to work with a situation in the symbolic language of the unconscious, so that we can receive a new sense of the issue from a deeper part of ourselves. But even if we don’t consciously receive a clear symbol we can trust that visualizations do influence the unconscious mind.
